Our Mission

Infection Control Results is dedicated to reducing the risk of healthcare-associated infections in dialysis, acute, long-term care, rehab, and dental or medical ambulatory settings. We work with your healthcare facility, wherever you are and however you prefer, to ensure that all your facility's goals are met.

Why Infection Control?

As most healthcare professionals know, the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) is very real. Per the CDC, there were more than 722,000 HAIs reported in the United States and 75,000 patients die every year as a result of an HAI. These HAIs include pneumonia, UTIs, bloodstream infections, gastrointestinal infections and surgical site infections. The most common organism causing gastrointestinal HAIs is Clostridium difficile or C. diff. C. diff is an inflammation of the colon and is often spread throughout healthcare facilities.

The CDC estimates that when healthcare professionals are aware of the problem and put in place systems to control HAIs, the incidence of many such infections can be reduced by up to 70 percent. Infection Control Results's primary mission is to help you achieve this goal.
